About the Author

Dong H. Chung, - Mr. Chung was born in South Korea and grew up in Baltimore, MD, the son of hard-working immigrant parents. He graduated from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. and received his law degree from the New England School of Law. He has created, produced, financed and/or distributed a wide variety of family-friendly content, including: Adventures In Odyssey animated DVD with Focus on the Family; animated Voyages of Young Dr. Doolittle and the acclaimed graphic novel series, The Almighty Bible. The first book, Genesis, was released in September, 2010, and the series has now sold over 2 million units to date. He was also the first to create co-production deals in Korea for animation. As a young parent, Dong saw children in his church reading graphic novels that were violent, overly erotic and sensational. He wanted to create an alternative to these kinds of books, but in a way in which children could still enjoy and relate. It was from this idea that The Almighty Bible series was created. Today, Mr. Chung heads a company that specializes in family-friendly content and lives with his wife and daughters in Westlake Village, CA.
