Obscure and long forgotten writings of Gerald Desmond, lecturer and writer, who under the cloak actually were Chicago bookseller Arthur Desmond (1859-1929), author of Might is Right, 1896, writing as "Ragnar Redbeard."

These two books The Struggle for Existence, and The State and Government, were first published by The Socialist Party of Canada, 1911.
