5 out of 5 stars - Practical and informative guide
I bought this when I was about to start my own franchised business, not because I have a young family but because it seemed to provide the information I was looking for in a format which was easy to read, digest and remember.
It was a great choice - the book gives step by step instructions in an easy to understand way with no jargon. It is not a 'business building manual' - it is a practical guide to the steps needed to set up a small business which confirmed what I needed to do and gave me confidence that I had made the right choice to become self-employed and that I was completely capable of doing it. The case studies were really helpful and gave me the push I needed to re-identify myself as a business owner and entrepreneur and encouraged me to get on with it!
