She has written several middle grade novels including PAWS, The Bravest Word and The Unlikely Heroes Club, plus a chapter book series about an autistic superhero called Harriet Hound .
Jacinta Read is an international artist, writer, and educator whose work centres around her special interests in neurodiversity, mental health, and identity. She enjoys working with everything from words to traditional watercolour and ink; to digital art; and even custom-made wooden puppets.
