Tourette Syndrome: The Ticcers Guide: A Guide To Living With Tourette's For People With TS And Their Families

Romy Worthington

Tourette Syndrome - The Ticcer's Guide is a handbook to support those living with Tourette Syndrome and their families. The book contains twenty informative chapters, covering topics such as the conditions that cause tics, management strategies, dealing with Tourette's in public, co-occurring conditions, rage attacks and how Tourette's can impact a person's identity. The book provides advice on how to educate the school on TS, how to accept your condition or help your child accept themselves, and also contains information on Tourette's in the workplace.

The book also includes pages of information on PANDAS and PANS, which are conditions which can look very similar to Tourette's and therefore are often misdiagnosed as such. The book explains why it is important to distinguish between Tourette Syndrome, PANDAS/PANS, and FND.

Chapters are made up of past blog posts / articles I have written, old social media posts, and exclusive chapters.

The book aims to empower Tourettic people, allow Ticcers to accept themselves, and find management strategies that help.
