For centuries the tension between the Angels of Heaven and the Seven Princes of Hell have simmered as earth remained sheltered, protected from their wars by God-given borders. But Lucifer has had enough. Taking matters into his own hands, he sets a new order in motion.

With the old rules of engagement in tatters, the angelic realm is forced to call upon humanity. Only five are chosen. Pulled from history and deposited into Eden, each will stand, armed with angelic gifts, as the new line of defense between humanity and the princes.

They are the Transcendents.

Zachariah Shaw, the last to be wrenched from Eden, struggles to adjust to the year 2025 amidst memories of his prior life in Salem and the terror of the witch trials. While he grapples to accept the critical role he must play in forcing back the encroaching darkness, another Transcendent, Luca, is harboring a secret that threatens to pull everything down around them.

But before the Transcendents can finish their training, it becomes apparent that their

immediate problem isn't Lucifer, it's Mammon. To keep the Prince of Greed from preying on the people of Salem, Massachusetts, the Transcendents are forced into the demonic realm to fight a battle they aren't prepared for. With only each other to depend on, and the fate of billions resting on their shoulders, the Transcendents must step into their abilities if they hope to save humanity.

That's if they can make it out of the demonic realm alive.
