WOW! 5-⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What a roller coaster ride! Talk about action-packed! It was tough to put down. Tired of slow, want action reading? Then give this book and the series a read!

Ride along with the New Orleans Police Department in their journey to uncover strange occurrences in the iconic city of New Orleans.

Former New Orleans homicide detective Zack Nelson has no time away from his job. When people are dying in a retirement center, he and Mario DeLuca, a fellow detective, have no choice but to investigate. After removing the third body, Zack suspects the cause of death was not from an illness-it was murder.

However, while they attempt to solve the case, they understand that someone at the retirement center isn't reliable. It appears the most significant danger may be from Dr. Walter Ross. The doctor's goal is to ensure the rooms are always filled and payments keep coming in for his family company, yet Zack is bewildered but can't dismiss him as a possible killer.

A mysterious man comes forward and helps them solve one murder. Zack and Mario finally think they can rest until a shocking murder of Zack's daughter-in-law's neighbor, a housewife, may have been an unintended victim of a well-organized killing. The detectives are hounded by clues that the murder across town could be related.

This high-octane thriller is an exciting mix of intrigue, secret deals, southern hospitality, and unforgettable characters.
