Protecting Your Freedoms in Today's Cultural Warfare

In America, the seeds of tyranny have taken root--and we're reaching critical tipping points on many societal battlefronts. In Uncommon Courage, constitutional lawyer Keisha Toni Russell exposes the tactics of those who are undermining the very foundations of our country and explains how you can walk in faith while defending your freedoms.

Through an informed survey of today's divisive topics--including religion, racism, abortion, education, and beyond--Uncommon Courage will help you

  • recognize the significance of recent radical cultural shifts, identifying conditions that foster tyranny and explaining the laws designed to protect your liberty
  • engage in compassionate but uncompromising conversations about freedom and faith, backed by a biblical worldview and constitutional principles
  • encourage fellow Christians to uphold the Bible as the founding wisdom of both America and the church and stand by their legal rights

Uncommon Courage will prepare you to have a powerful and positive impact in today's society. As you bless the hearts of others with the proclamation of God's truth, you can also influence both culture and government in ways that advance God's kingdom.

"The roles of education and public participation are inextricably linked to the development and expression of character and virtue. With Uncommon Courage, Keisha Toni Russell taps into her experiences as an educator and a reformer to bring forth a sustaining vision for moral engagement. If she can remedy the deficits of children struggling to learn, then she can certainly teach the rest of us how to think constructively about our ideological commitments and perhaps even about how to get along."

Keisha Toni Russell has given the church an invaluable resource for understanding the past, discerning the present, and recognizing our place in the race for truth. Her case is undeniably motivated by a deep desire to see the gospel advanced and God's grace poured out on this world. This is an important book for our generation; one that we will likely need to revisit often to grant us a sobering lay of the land and remind us of our purpose.
"People in our day are obsessed with being found on the right side of history. Uncommon Courage is a book that will embolden us Christians to be found standing for HIS-story. Righting the ship is going to require that bold Christ-followers come forward and fight the good fight, and Uncommon Courage needs to be their playbook."
