Visions of the Divine: An Artistic Journey Into the Mystery of the Eucharist

Stephen Auth

Visions of the Divine takes readers on a powerful pilgrimage through sacred art, history, and faith. Authored by Stephen F. Auth, with contributions from Evelyn Moreno Auth and Fr. Roger Landry, this book intricately weaves together personal reflections, theological insights, and a collection of masterpieces from the world's most revered art museums. Structured around the Holy Mass, each chapter explores a distinct part of the liturgy, pairing it with evocative art that reflects and deepens the mystery of the Eucharist. Through stories of art encounters from the Vatican to the Prado, the authors guide readers in contemplating profound themes--sacrifice, communion, and conversion, to name a few. Visions of the Divine offers a unique perspective for art enthusiasts, theologians, and all who seek to enrich their spiritual life and experience the Mass in a new, visually immersive way.
