What's the Furthest Place from Here? Volume 1

Matthew Rosenberg

A post-apocalypse, coming-of-age story about the things that matter most: your survival, your loved ones, and your record collection.

New York Public Library "Best New Comics of 2022 for Adults!" List

From Eisner nominated artist Tyler Boss (4 Kids Walk Into A Bank, Dead Dog's Bite) and bestselling writer Matthew Rosenberg (DC vs. Vampires, Uncanny X-Men) comes an epic adventure about growing up and getting lost at the end of the world.

When 16 year-old Sid goes missing in the wastelands, it's up to the members of her gang to try to discover what happened. But what they find is a whole world beyond anything they could imagine. Like Lord of the Rings meets Lord of the Flies, or John Carpenter by way of John Hughes, this series smashes together sci-fi and fantasy with elements of comedy, horror, and mystery for an emotional coming-of-age story unlike anything you've read before.

This oversized volume collects the first arc of the breakout hit series James Tynion IV calls "What the future of comics SHOULD feel like."

Collects issues 1-6.

About the Author

Rosenberg, Matthew: - Matthew Rosenberg is the award-winning, deeply charming, moderately humorous, and disarmingly modest writer of What's the Furthest Place From Here?. He has also co-created and written the series 4 Kids Walk Into A Bank and We Can Never Go Home, as well as worked on titles such as Uncanny X-Men, DC vs. Vampires, The Punisher, The Joker, Amazing Spider-Man, and lots of other stuff like that. Weirdly, he once co-wrote an album with a member of the Wu-Tang Clan. He was born and raised in New York City, where he still prowls the streets at night, striking fear into the hearts of no one.
Boss, Tyler: - Tyler Boss is an Eisner-nominated, award winning cartoonist and designer. His titles included Dead Dog's Bite, as well as 4 Kids Walk into a Bank and What's the Furthest Place from Here? with his frequent collaborator Matthew Rosenberg. Go Bills.
