Wonder: A Collection of Poems

Aj Howler

This book is a collection of 54 poems that takes inspiration from the wonder of nature. The realization of seeing how everything is connected opens up possibilities that were previously unknown. These poems transport us to penguins in frigid water and point us to common birds outside our very own house. Then seeing that it's possible they aren't so different from one another. We begin to learn more about ourselves by sitting and watching what is already around us. The bird outside our window flies us to the penguin and the penguin can waddle right back to us. This collection is attempting to do just that. To show us that if we ask nature questions it will answer without saying a word.

Some poems included:
"SUNNY DUST"
"AN INFINITE VIEW"
"SEA TURTLE PARADISE"
"DIVING DUCK"
"SNOWY LABRADOR"
"THE CHICKADEE AND THE ROSE"
and much more...

About the Author:

AJ Howler was raised in a small town on the shores of Lake Erie. Bearing witness to the lake's stunning beauty and unforgiving power he had found something. In time Howler noticed the lake's behavior acted no different from the life we live in. Calm one moment and brutal the next. Nature is not only a part of our lives, but it's a direct reflection of it. When we see a blade of grass dance in the wind, it's not just about what we see. It is about how we connect to it and where it leads us. This book contains a collection of poems that transport us to many different places of wonder. Taking notice of the wonder in anything from the dirt in the ground to the clouds in the sky. In the hope that we will begin to see that even just a grain of sand is worthy of admiration. The wonder we experience and feel is entirely up to us.
