About the Author

Anthony P. Carnevale. Dr. Carnevale currently serves as research Professor and Director of the Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce, a position he has held since the Center was created in 2008. Between 1996 and 2006, he served as Vice President for Public Leadership at the Educational Testing Service, or ETS.
