Shirley Raye Redmond

A STEP-BY-STEP plan to write fiction & nonfiction from picture books to middle grade books.

But this is NOT a typical writing guide. You must write a marketable book in order to sell it.

This workbook teaches how to craft your idea to Target the Market.

Many writing guides tell you to research the market. This workbook shows you:

  • how to research the market step-by-step in detail.
  • how to create a template for your book and create your best chance of selling.
  • how to plot engaging fiction (plot points and outline guides).
  • how to craft enticing nonfiction (how to structure; what to put in; what to leave out).
  • how to establish editor contacts.

Start today, Step-By-Step. Craft your Idea into a chidlren's book.

Shirley Raye Redmond and Jennifer McKerley have been published by Random House, Simon & Schuster, Gale Cengage, Heinemann and other major houses, and some of their titles have won awards. They've based this course on techniques that work for them, and they've sold 38 chidlren's books.
