"Brotherless Night" Wins the 2024 Women's Prize for Fiction
For the past 29 years, the Women's Prize for Fiction has celebrated the best novels written by women and published during the previous year. This year, the judges bestowed top honors on “a masterpiece of historical fiction” by V. V. Ganeshananthan that they hailed as “a brilliant, compelling and deeply moving novel that bears witness to the intimate and epic-scale tragedies of the Sri Lankan civil war.” Here are all the nominees currently available on Tertulia. Three novels ("A Trace of Sun," "The Maiden," and "In Defence of the Act") are not yet available in the US.
