The Women's Prize for Non-Fiction 2025
The Women’s Prize for Non-Fiction is a major book prize launched in 2024 that celebrates exceptional narrative non-fiction by women and expands on the prestigious Women's Prize for Fiction. This year, the sixteen nominees include Anne Applebaum’s study of modern autocracies, Rebecca Nagle’s work on Muscogee rights, Yuan Yang’s exploration of contemporary China, and Sue Prideaux’s biography of Paul Gauguin. The £30,000 prize will be awarded on June 12, alongside the Women’s Prize for Fiction. *Tracker by Alexis Wright, Sister in Law by Harriet Wistrich, and Ootlin by Jenni Fagan are not currently available in the U.S.
