Div School Lit

My debut novel, The Nimbus, kicks off when the toddler son of a religious-studies professor mysteriously begins to glow. The novel is a metaphysical tragicomedy about religion, parenting, and academia, and it's largely set in and around a divinity school on Chicago's South Side. Though The Nimbus is not autobiographical in any strict sense (did I mention it's about a glowing child?) it does draw on the atmosphere of the Div School where I earned a Ph.D. Below are some writers, past and present, who also spent time in the theological trenches. ** Plus, preorder my book here and get 25% off with code NIMBUS!
