Five Novels That’ll Make You Laugh Out Loud

A lot of novels are funny. But how many novels are laugh-out-loud funny?
Here’s the thing: humor is famously subjective. If you need proof, try showing your favorite YouTube video at a party. Never goes as well as you think it will, does it? You’re in hysterics as the guy on-screen gets pummeled with the watermelon, but your cousin’s boyfriend–the one you're positive you saw lick his fingers before diving back into the nut bowl–hasn’t even cracked a smile.
This list is the literary equivalent of me showing some YouTube videos at a party.
Here are some novels that make me laugh. Most of them make me feel other things, too, but that’s not what you’re here for. Grab a beer and give ‘em a chance. And if you don’t find them funny, well–have you tried the nuts?
