It’s awful.

@patmaddox :-) BTW: I had a book of the complete works of Abraham Lincoln. Early on, he really tried to write in a sophisticated, flowery way. He worked against his humble beginnings and featured his self-education. Later he relaxed into it, and was both literate and folksy.
