@jenichappelle I recently read A Taste of Gold and Iron! It really hit that balance between romance and worldbuilding for me. And also For the Wolf/Throne, of course. And I think Emily Tesh's Silver in the Wood and its sequel both qualify. And then I was lucky enough to beta-read one!
