Trying to finish Call of the Bone Ships (Tide Child Trilogy #2) today but might end up being finished tomorrow. Either way this is a magical world and it doesn’t contain (much) magic but it’s the characters and their relationships with one another that are truly spellbinding.

I'm such a mood reader but I'm currently sticking to planned tbrs until September where I begin (for the first time) The Faithful & The Fallen from Sep-Dec (one a month). However, I've got such a random urge to read Dragon Mage by ML Spencer; it looks magical.

Got Fire & Blood (GoT) to read but I’ve seen a review that says that if you read The World of Fire & Ice you don’t learn much more from reading F&B… Has anyone read both/one and care to weigh in?

I’m halfway through Amongst Our Weapons by Aaronovitch and it feels nice to be back in the familiar world of magical London police work. Really hoping I can finish it by tomorrow as I have a lot of other good stories I want to read. #BookTwitter

I'm half tempted to give Fire & Blood to a charity shop and then read The World of Fire & Ice since Petrk's review of F&B says you don't really get much from it if you've read TWOFAI AND it's mostly from a misogynistic POV anyway...
