I haven't read as much non-fiction as fiction lately, but my top recent recommendation is What We Don't Talk About When We Talk About Fat by Aubrey Gordon. I also just started reading @IBJIYONGI's The Disordered Cosmos yesterday and can already tell it's going to be a favorite!

Either a fun coincidence or a freaky prophecy in a book: I'm reading Green Mars by Kim Stanley Robinson (1994), second in a trilogy about humans settling & terraforming Mars. Robinson goes into a lot of detail, and I'm currently in a chapter set at a research conference on Mars.

@shaun_vids The latest @lingthusiasm episode (featuring Randall Munroe of xkcd!) tries to predict what the next word for "cool" will be, since a new one appears ~decadally and the words tend to share some similarities. Would recommend!
