@HoustonChron U.S. employers have 1.7 jobs for every person looking for one, according to the BLS. Net international immigration between 2020 and 2021 added 247,000 workers to the nation’s population, the Census Bureau reported. By comparison, the U.S. added 1,049,000 between 2015 and 2016.
