Just finished THE WAGER by @DavidGrann. It was my first book of his but definitely won’t be my last. The sort of nonfiction book you finish and can’t believe it wasn’t actually a novel. The details are so rich and the narrative was so immersive. What a wild, incredible story.

Just finished reading FIVE DAYS AT MEMORIAL by Sheri Fink, about the decisions made by doctors in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. It does such an incredible job of presenting the moral complexity & the blurred lines of “right & wrong” in an emergeny. Such an excellent book.
