I liked it but I’m not sure how it would come across to one who isn’t already acquainted with the concepts that it addresses. If you’re new to the idea of decolonization or abolition I would maybe start with Nick Estes, Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz, or Angela Davis before this.

After Many Springs is a catalog book for an exhibition that was held at the Des Moines Arts Center in 2009 and was curated by the author Debra Bricker Balken. I found it really fascinating and full of great context for the works selected.
