Frankenstein: (Original Edition)
M. W. Shelley@Nickyshearsby22 I think it was a good basis to see how writing and style have evolved. I really appreciated Mary Shelley's Frankenstein--not for the monster, but the themes. And Faulkner--lord he's depressing, but he created his own county--mainstream world building and it stuck with me 😉

The Damned Thing
Ambrose Bierce@Matt_Wildasin My first drop into horror was probably Poe, but I also like Ambrose Bierce's The Damned Thing. However, one of the creepiest that stuck with me is David H Keller's, The Thing in the Cellar: https://t.co/B9ob6fEQO8 Is it any wonder I write the stuff??😅😅
