@Noir_Kincade There are so many, depending on what flaour of SF you enjoy. I like slow burn, but meandering can be an issue. A really solid, meaty read you might enjoy is Vernor Vinge's "A Fire Upon the Deep." Well worth your time, IMO. I've read it twice.
