...meanwhile, I've finally gotten around to Daniel Clowes' PATIENCE and, I've got to say, I'm done with the whole "Raymond Carver's THE TWILIGHT ZONE" thing. Didn't care about anyone on the page, and ironic detachment only gets you so far. (See also: Chris Ware's RUSTY BROWN.)
