A Fire Upon the Deep
Vernor VingeDr. Phil MetzgerI haven’t read tons of sci fi, but the best I’ve read about an escaping malevolent Super Intelligent AI is “A Fire Upon the Deep” by Vernor Vinge. The part where it escapes is terrifying, quite frankly. Highly recommended.
