Oh. Hey. I finished @mikechenwriter's VAMPIRE WEEKEND last night and it's just delightful. A *very* San Francisco vampire tale that feels like a hug for the music-loving disaffected teen you were. Pre-Orders help an author, etc. So do the thing!

@nemerevermore My dude, you're writing and are gonna write so many things you love. Also! I *highly* recommend Myla Goldberg's Wickett's Remedy. verybody talked Bee Season, but WR is !!!! with a Greek chorus of the dead in the margins. Proof the hype machine doesn't know what's what.

2. I draft. I don't read related stuff while drafting. 3. Read a bunch more between drafts to see if I'm in dialog with what I want to be. I don't take many notes, if I do it's by hand, and very general. This takes a big chunk of time. 4. Revise/redraft. 5. Repeat until "done."
