@Skywave12853842 They also confirm the authenticity of the Didache, 1 & 2 Clement, the Sheperd of Hermas, etc.; and many early in the Church denied 2 & 3 John, 2 Peter, & James as canon. If ancient scrolls alone is enough, why isn't Caesar's Gallic Wars canon? We have ancient manuscripts for it.
