I finished Ottessa Moshfegh's new novel LAPVONA last night and I'm not 100% sure what I think about it. I will say that I was taken enough by it to read it in two and half days. Also, that it was not nearly the parade of depravities that some reviews had made me expect. 1/n

@AshTudor888 It’s good for books for which I want to read but don’t want to savor the prose. I prefer to use it for non-fiction or long fiction that I’d otherwise get mired in. Also, for hearing authors read their own work. I never *got* George Saunders until I heard him read his stories.
