Oh. My. God. If you are a fan of Pachinko, epic stories and/or Russian literature, you MUST read Juhea Kim's new novel, BEASTS OF A LITTLE LAND. I'm 1/3 through, and I haven't felt this affected by a book in some time. It's so stirring that I can feel my hands shake as I read.
