A friend invited me to see Slave Play but just reading about it is triggering real nausea. I read plays by Amiri Baraka, James Baldwin, August Wilson, Lorraine Hansberry, Susan-Lori Parks, Brecht, Pinter, Checkov etc and none have given me nausea on a browse.
