Currently reading Reel by Kennedy Ryan. I listened to Before I Let Go by her on audible for the past few days. Actually really enjoyed it. & am really enjoying Reel so far too. Even though I am only on Chapter 5.

The way I am so excited for this Kindle Paperwhite to come in. I already bought the case, the screen protector, AND the popsocket (iykyk). And I already have the first novel I plan to read on it picked out. (Witchful Thinking by Celestine Martin) Will be a GREAT weekend.

Back on my book spill, I have come to realize that I am a S U C K E R for a good book series. And aside from the three series I want to read by A. House, i just found out that there is a series for The Wedding Date by Jasmine Guillory. I will be reading that too. Excited🥰

So, I have finished The Kingmaker by Kennedy Ryan as y’all know. She released a Juneteenth short story. I read that immediately afterwards. It a was really cute read. I also finally got around the reading the Britta & Wes bonus stories from TFWTF. LOVED THEM ALL😭

So, I just finished listening to The Build Up by Tati Richardson, and that shit…was PHENOMENAL. Like the title explains the story perfectly. I mean the quest for love, the fight against the plight of misogyny in the workplace, THE SPICE, the chemistry…all perfect.
