if you’re letting the new ‘puss in boots’ pass by because the shrek universe was mid after ‘shrek 2’, DON’T it’s a near-perfect film. great story, strong writing, interpolation of classic fairytale characters on par with the originals, and the animators were flexing NON-STOP

Mind-blown after learning that ‘This Bridge Will Not Be Gray’, ‘The Circle’, and ‘The Monk of Mokha’ are all written by the same guy, Dave Eggers, AND he’s also the founder of McSweeney's. This was like discovering Charlie Brooker, creator of Black Mirror, also co-founded CeX.
