Joe PappalardoI highly recommend this book about about a WWII B-17 gunner who won the Medal of Honor for saving his aircraft. The guy turned out to be a bit of a scoundrel, which tied US Army PR folks in knots. Can a book be gripping AND nuanced? @PappalardoJoe pulls it off.
