@kettlecorn Yes! I remember reading it too! I was doubly surprised as a Scott McCloud fan: he’s the first to write a theoretical comics about comics, a masterpiece: Understanding Comics. Even if you don’t plan to create or critic comics 😅 it’s a perfect lesson in storytelling and structure

It’s a totally different perspective on totalitarianism than for ex. 1984 (body and mind used versus body and mind crushed).
