@smallthief some things I've done in the past include Derrida's Animal That Therefore I am and ZI Jackson's Becoming Human (might use just the intro this time). Last time I did the whole issue of GLQ on 'Queer Inhumanisms' and probably also Mel Chen's Animacies. All very much in flux tho!

@schwartz_ana but I was also thinking of books like The Incendiaries and *possibly* Severance (but weirdly not On Earth We Were Briefly Gorgeous? and probably not Brandon Taylor's Real Life? so I, hahahaha, clearly have no coherent methodology)
