It’s been about a year since I read it but I still think about the book “The Right to Sex” and how honest it was about the ways sex positivity can be weaponized in a misogynistic society w/o dismissing that those most hurt by its absence are women and queers. Real rigor there.

If you’d like to read more about how and why the Democratic Party abandoned the labor movement, “Listen Liberal” by Thomas Frank is a great intro. He’s not a socialist, just a guy who wants everybody to eat and to avoid characters like Trump arising from right wing “populism”

I read this dude’s book, More than Two, and IMO it reads like a how to manual for emotional abuse. Very upsetting to think how many people have taken this guy’s advice. For a healthy perspective on non-monogamous relationships I personally enjoyed Polysecure by Jessica Fern
