@MoiraDonegan Extremely weird rec: The Rending and the Nest by Kaethe Schwehn. I read it during the year I read 200 books for review and it still hasn't left my mind. It doesn't directly address the stuff you're saying but it's elegiac in a way that does indirectly address it
