@seagulljaap @piperhuguley And of course you can’t go wrong with Toni Morrison or Octavia Butler. Two of my all-time favorite authors. Butler’s sci-fi is incredible—Parable of the Sower is one of the best books I’ve ever read.

@hfchitchat Honestly, I don't really feel like I have one for 2022. The Fire and the Ore came out, so I guess that's probably the biggest achievement for this year, but I release an Olivia Hawker book every years so it doesn't feel like a big deal to me.
