@leilasedai If you haven't read Susanna Clarke, she's a great one. "Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell" is a very slow build, but excellent if you like Victorian pastiche, and her newer book, "Piranesi" was one of my favorites last year.

@leilasedai Also, if you want something really light and fun, the "Soulless" series by Gail Carriger is delightfully silly. Victorian adventure with werewolves and vampires. Oh, and last, I've really enjoyed SA Chakraborty's Daevabad trilogy, starts with "City of Brass"
