@Unwise_Trousers I love the voyeuristic aspect of some of her work. I haven’t read the novel, but I know that Paul Auster turned her into a character in Leviathan. She’s also featured in Grégoire Bouillier’s The Mystery Guest. An artist definitely worth checking out.

@DanielS0699 That’s a really tough question to answer, Daniel. I haven’t read Nguyen or Drndić. Have you read anything by Cormac McCarthy? You may like Blood Meridian. How about Ron Rash? He has an excellent short story collection titled Something Rich and Strange. Maybe Yōko Ogawa’s Revenge?
