@NancyRPearcey Hello Nancy, the only ancient texts that I could find where praus ("meek") words are used to describe the nature or behaviour of warhorses is Xenophon's On Horsemanship 9:10 and Cyropaedia 2.1.21. I can't see that these texts refer to strength as such..
