@Samantha_Eaton3 @TeaWhileWriting I always recommend Clive Barker's The Thief of Always for this kind of request. It's a YA dark fantasy/ horror and one of his best books. Tragic that most haven't heard of it

@thatwilliambeck Have you read any of the Rivers of London books by Ben Aaronovitch? That looks at a lot of London folklore too, including personifying the rivers (hence the name)

@barb_avon haha. Jasper Fforde wrote a book about that - it's called The Well of Lost Plots (book 3 in the Thursday Next series). A universe where unfinished plots and characters stay until fully realised.
