Woke up at 3:30 a.m. Paris time. (I recently returned from California, 9 hours behind us here). Decided to read for a bit. Picked up Jean Rhys’ The Wide Sargasso Sea from my bedside table and could not put it down. Finished it at 6:15 a.m. Made coffee.
