@JessieNYC Also: "Pedagogy of the Oppressed" Paulo Freire + work by many feminists & subaltern scholars, Chandra Mohanty, bell hooks, Gayatri Spivak, etc. Reading all this, both as part of coursework & on my own, was hard work (deconstructing years of logical positivism!), but it necessary.
