@bria_110 I used to feel exactly this way. I don’t know if it was the men I was meeting or my own self-perception, but either way, it’s very much not true. I found bell hooks’ All About Love, New Visions to be good on this subject. You deserve to be loved, not just fucked ❤️

@SecretVan I always recommend new editors to try to read style books to learn this stuff softly. Some are pretty entertaining; Joe Moran’s First You Write a Sentence is great & v useful, and Mary Norris’s Confessions of a Comma Queen begins with her ambitions to be a dairy farmer 👌
