@micahsb @roderickgraham @G0ldunDrak0n Yep. When I was 7, my parents gave me WHERE DID I COME FROM? by Peter Mayle, the classic intro-to-sex ed book. It explains the facts and mechanics, but it’s the least sexy thing you’ll ever see. And that’s a good thing, for the book’s purpose.

@DoctorLockwood I'm currently reading CONTROL by Adam Rutherford, a geneticist. He doesn't consider parents trying to ensure the best health of their future children to be eugenics. "Eugenics" is more the top-down ideological element to implementing these strategies in society.
