The book's worth reading, but start with Stephen--Mill's most powerful critic (though, regrettably in my view, sharing some of Mill's utilitarian assumptions). Also read Hart's *Law, Liberty & Morality* and Basil Mitchell's *Law, Morality & Religion*.
